Diagnosed Diverticulitis. Fever, Dark Stools, Pain Under The Ribs, Anxiety, Cool Rushing Fluid, Hardness In Tender Area. Advice

Hello doctor. I was diagnosed by my PCP on Monday (today is early hours of Sundau morning) of having diverticulitis. I have been suffering for two weeks thinking it would go away before I knew the diagnosis. I have been on Levaquin and Flagyl since Monday (six days of a ten day course). Yesterday I developed a fever of 101.5 , which still remains, stool a bit darker, moderate to serve pain in upper left area under ribs. I have also had what seems like a constant anxiety attack and a cool rushing of fluid feeling in that area. I also feel a decent sized lump or hardness in the tender area. My main concern is the new developing fever, uncontrolled pain and probably most of all: what is the cool fluid type feeling I get on occasion. Thank you. (I originally went to an urgent care at beginning of symptoms and was told I had a broken rib which I now find out I do NOT). Thank you again.
