Diagnosed Endometrial Hyperplasia. Taking Deviry, Bleeding Continues After Period. Will Northsterone Help?
hi, I am 44 yrs old, diagnosed a case of endometrial simple hyperplasia through EB. I am taking deviry 10 mg twice a day but my bleeding remains continue even after 10 days of cycle. After 10th day of mensis, flow of bleeding stopped but my vegina still have few drops of blood all the time. pl advice what to do. should i change the drug to northsterone as adviced my gyne.
Hi, Thanks for your question. I think you should report this continuous bleeding to your treating Gynecologist. The doctor may recommend a repeat Endometrial biopsy. If your report is recent then your doctor may increase the dose you are taking or may change medicine. You should follow the doctor & have regular follow up. If this is still not sufficient & you are tired of this continuous bleeding then there are other options like minimal invasive surgeries or even hysterectomy. Best regards.
