Diagnosed For Subclinic Hypothyroid. Weight Increased. Related To Discontinuing Exercises?
i m 5.2 ft...i joined gym wen i was 78kgs,in 2008 wen i was 24yrs for 3months den discntd due to hectic schdule...then again in 2010 i was diagnsed fro subclinicl hypothyrd i again i joind aerobc classes in 8months my wt reduced from 86kg to 82kgs n my tsh levels are always normal i again hd to discnt workout cuz of hejoin ctic schdule since den i never had tym to join any clases n my current wt is 94kgs....was my weight increased cuz of discntg exercises n work out??
Hi, Thanks for using Healthcaremagic, Your weight is increasing and if you have hypothyroid state it can be treated by supplementation but if your TSH is normal then it is questionable.
Your height is 5'2'' your weight should be 60 to 65 kg but weight depend on various factors like family history, diet and exercise as you did lost weight when you did exercise.
You have to take care of calories consumed and exercise and quality of food. Now you have Grade II obesity so you can consider meeting a bariatric surgeon to discuss about surgical option to reduce your weight.
