Diagnosed Infection In Eyeball. No Help From Eye Drops. Prescribed Antibiotics. Reason For Infection?
Sure, thanks for answering my question. I was recently treated for pink eye and received my tx through a phone consult. The eye drops didn't help my symptoms. I went in to see a doctor this morning. She said my "eye ball" was infected and she started me on some oral antibiotics plus pain medicine. I didn't get the name of the infection. What do you call it,"per...." and what could have caused this infections?
hi, there are some cases of red eye, where it simulates infection, but actually due to defense against body ownself. inflammation but not infection of eye also gives similar symptoms and signs. ask your ophthalmologist regarding iritis/iridocyclitis.
or meet another doctor
wishing you good health
