Diagnosed Ovarian Ectopic Pregnancy. Heavy Bleeding With Clots Which Is Stopped After Sometime. Possible Internal Bleeding?

I was told today that I have an ovarian ectopic pregnancy, which they are hoping will resolve itself. They said its growing on my left ovary, but said that it looks like it collapsed on itself, which is causing bleeding. I bled heavy for about 12 hours and passed quite a few clots, but now there's not really anything. Is that normal? Should I be concerned that I'm still not bleeding? I know the risk of internal bleeding with this type of ectopic pregnancy is high.

Yes, usually, it behaves in such manner, pain can come off and on if ovarian torsion occurs, particularly in late stage (I do not know your gestation age)

Ultrasound monitoring and regular follow up with your gynaec doctor is a must

You should take preventive measures for preventing future ectopic pregnency by discussing with your doctor
