Diagnosed With ADHD, Severe Sleep Apnea. Using Bipap And Treated For Depression. Is It ADHD With Secondary Hyoersomnia?
I have been Diagnosed with ADHD at age 56.
I also have very severe Central Sleep Apnea. 88 episodes an hour. Also Cheyn Stokes breathing.
After at least 15 years untreated, I am thankfully NOW being treated effectively with a Bipap machine. I am 100 percent compliant ( I found the right mask). I am also being treated for depression. I also used to score 18 on the ESS
I have just tried modafinil with fantastic results. It also helps my ADHD a lot. I now score 5 on the ESS
Am I really ADHD with this secondary hypersomnia R/T to CSA?
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really understand your concern but let me tell you that ADHD is not related with ether of your connected complain it is functional disorders and have separate pathophysiology, you can come out of this, if you can think of it and wish for the same only need your confidence and high moral, have nice day.
