Hi I have had gas and bowel problems such as IBS. This will sound crazy but at times my gas travels up into my chest' back' neck' and head. I assume its gas because when I apply pressure to where it is at the time, back, chest, or head I feel it bubbling down until it releases through anal or belching. I feel like the gas can get to far in my head and stop oxygen to the brain. Is this a known condition and what should I do? I am 32yrs. Old and this has been occurring sincemy childhood. People think iI'm crazy when I have to apply pressure until the gas starts coming out.
