Almost all my blood work is normal . . . white blood count is a bit high, "total leukocyte count (TC) 11.1x10 3/L " n Doc says that thyroid is nearly at the borderline. "thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) 3.69mlU/L "I have a Mild fatty Liver with hepatomegaly. I have a coupe of questions . . . 1- I dont understand what Glycomet does to our body, i knw that it does sumthing to the insulin level . . . but what how does it improve our PCOD. 2- What is mean y Mild fatty liver with hepatomegaly . . . i heard that its normal to have a fatty liver. 3- I feel a bit weak after taking medicine and drinking medislim . . . a bit faintly too, is it normal?
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Since , diagnosis is already there, your queries are as, 1 Why Glycomet?
The metabolic relationship relates to state of hyperinsulinemia in PCOD. Insulin through G F receptor synergises with L H ( leutinizing hormone) to promote stromal luteinization ,follicular atresia and stimulation of androgen producing cells. So glycomet lowers the sex hormone binding globulin . 2 Fatty liver is normal but it is somewhat enlarged so mentioned mild hepatomegaly ( fatty liver ) as this is due to overweight . 3 Gycomet in itself do not develops weakness, but mild gastric upset may be. What is the effect of medislim , I can't say. Good luck. Dr. HET
