Diagnosed With PCOS. Having Metformine. When Is The Right Time To Take An HCG Test?

Hi , I have been diagnosed with PCOS 5 years ago. I have been having Metformine since the diagnosis.im 28 yo . i have been ttc for 2 years now. Just been through my first round of IUI. I know it may or it may not work. Im ready for the outcome in any case. im just wondering when is the right time to take an HCG test. It is known HCG takes longer to show up when people are using metformin.

Thanks for the query.

Usually urine pregnancy test kit can show accurate result after one week of missing the period date.
Metformin may not have effect on the result.
So if you cross the date of periods go for urine pregnancy teat after one week.
If you want early and accurate result you can go for blood test for pregnancy.
