Have been on Enbrel then Humiera in past-had to stop Methotrexate due to side effects.Severe side effect to Cyclosporine-stopped two days ago.Meanwhile, eruption is subsiding-Dr. wants me to restart meds at 100mgx2 daily???ConcernedPrednisone also not an option.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The medicines given for psoriatic arthropathy are all immunomodulators and are associated with considerable side effects. The doses are adjusted to minimize the discomfort.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
