Diagnosed With Sjorgren's Disease, Hair Fall. Is The Auto-immune Disease Or The Budesonide, Lisinopril Tablets Causing Hair Fall?

I was diagnosed with Sjorgren's Diesease 5 months ago and have found that my usually thick hair is thinning very quickly at the crown going towards the middle front of my hair...top of head. I can see the baldness increasing! Is the auto-immune disease or the Budesonide 3mg, Lisinopril 20 mg/HCTZ 12.5 related to this disturbing hair loss?
Thanks, Annette

Hi,

As you are aware Sjogrens is an autoimmune disease and effects many organs in the body. the skin is also effected. The drugs you have mentioned are not known to cause hair loss. thus, it is mostly due to Sjogrens. You must continue with the drugs as they will help you manage this and other conditions effectively. You can also consult a dermatologist who will give you other advice on improving you hair condition.

Hope this helps.
