Diagnosed With Trivial Tricuspid Regurgitation. Suggestions?
Dear Doctor I recently got my pre-employment medical checkup and found out in Echo Cardiogram that I have Trivial Tricuspid Regurgitation . The final report said that I do not require any medication . But since I am going to join the defense, their medical checkup is very rigorous and minute. So I want to know your say about it and whether I should undergo some treatment. Regards Jasnoor Singh
1) your age
2) addiction
3) blood sugar level, thyroid profile and lipid profile
4) drug history and family history
5) if there is any breathlessness, palpitation, dizziness
if there is no symptom, trivial tricuspid regurgitation is no worry for normal life.but as per as defense related job is concerned,it may cause some problem in check up.
but,as per as treatment is concerned,no treatment is needed if there is no symptom.
medication only can reduce symptom.
had you suffered from rheumatic fever in childhood or adolescent?
any way, dont be worried about trivial regurgitation.
echocardiography should be done further to monitor the intensity of regurgitation.
otherwise dont be worried at this stage.
i hope my advice will help you.
inform me in need further.
bye .take care
