Diagnosed With Waldenstroms Macroglobulinemia, Have Severe Mouth Ulcers. Cure?

My husband, aged 61, was diagnosed with Waldenstroms Macroglobulinemia some time ago. In August this year he developed severe mouth ulcers . He has been on a course of steroids which have now finished. Some of the ulcers have still not cleared up. A biopsy was taken the results of which we have not yet received. He has lost approximately 20lbs since August. One consultant dealing with him thinks it may be related to the lymphoma whereas the other consultant is not convinced that it is. Do you have any suggestions about what we can do to help him? He also developed anal ulcers around the same time.

According to American Cancer society Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia is a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Hpwever, may experts siggest that it is not usually be treated until the disease is causing problems. You can refer to the following link of American Cancer society, to clear more of your doubts-
