Diagnosed With Bipolar Disorder. Prescribed Trend XR And Quipam. How To Treat Without Medicine?
Hello sir , i had visited my psychiatrist 2 years before he dignose me as bipolar disorder , From last 6th month i have tried my self come out of it by regulation meditation and exercises i have got good result and i dont wont to be on medicine.He prescribed me Trend xr -500 1-0-1 and quipam -5 0-0-1/2 (before six month , worries about trivial things) Do i come out of it without medicine

Bipolar disorder is a mood disorder. It is a episodic illness and episodes of mania and depression. Treatment with medicines is advisable. Most of psychiatrists favour medicinal treatment. Medicines as Sodium evaporate, carbamazepine,lithium, low dose antipsychotics like olanzapin etc are very effective. So please don't try to stop medicine by own, visit your psychiatrist for expert opinion otherwise condition will worsen.

Thanks for your query. Bipolar disorder is a type of mood disorder that is characterised by phases of depression and mania. Neurotransmitter chemical abnormalities have been demonstrated in the brain of bipolar patients. Hence, medication called as mood stabilisers are considered the gold standard foe management.
I suggest that you should not stop psychotropic medication by yourself prior to discussing your concerns with your treating psychiatrist. Wish you good health.
