Diagnosed With Costochondritis, Positive Blood Clot Test. Cause Of High Clot Levels?
I was diagnosed with costochondritis after an er visit for some varying chest discomfort and left arm tingle. I'm concerned about a positive blood clot test though. They did a cat scan to look for clots but it was negative. I am 25 and otherwise health and have been diagnosed with this 3 times in the last 5 years. Could a recent cold or the chest inflammation explain the high clot levels?
Hi There must have be some hereditary condition, blood clotting factor disorder, ( Increased the level ), costochondritis might be because of micro aggregation of platelate inside the microvascular system of costochondral junctions although ii is cartilage but the said pathology can not be neglected, cold whether effects the blood clotting but it more noticeable in patients having blood disorders, consult some good hematologist, Have good time
