Diagnosed With Inflammation Of Pancreas. Had Gallbladder Removed. Change My Diet?
Hi I was recently diagnosed with inflammation of the pancreas . The doctors could not find a cause. I had my gallbladder removed 3 yrs ago. I also have early stage Barretts oesphagus. I do not drink alcohol and dont smoke . Do I need to change my diet and is there any medication that I should take. Do I need to see any specialist in the future for my condition. What medications could cause the pancreas to inflame.
Hello, I have gone through your query. According to me, surgical or invasive procedure to biliary tract itself can cause pancreatitis. Check for electrolyte abnormalities and need to correct them. Take PANTOPRAZOLE 40 mg OD before breakfast for esophagitis but you should be following up for barretts esophagus. Don't take foods rich in fats like mayonnaise, cheese, salads, butter etc., Hope this helped you. Thanks.
