Diagnosed With Intraductal Pappilloma. Cannot Perform Microdochechtomy As I Am Pregnant. Will I Be Able To Breast Feed After This?
I am 38 years old and have been diagnosed with intraductal papilloma in left breast of size~3mm and microdochechtomy was the recommended procedure which could not be carried out as I am pregnant (32 weeks now). I would like to know as to when would it be advisable to go for the said procedure once I deliver and also if I would be able to feed my baby
I is not advisable to undergo any surgery at 32 weeks unless its a emergency surgery. Duct pailloma is affection of usually single duct. It can definitely wait till the delivery of child and also for 6 months after deliver-- till the time you are exlusively breast feeding the baby. Also you can safely feed the baby Take Care
