Diagnosed With Mild Gastritis, Many Ulcers, Swollen Stomach, Constantly Constipated, Anal Pain. What To Do ?
hELLO DR. I HAD A ENDOSCOPY AND HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH MILD GASTRITIS. I AM 57 FEMALE AND USED TO DRINK COPIUS AMOUNTS OF ALCOHOL ALTHOUGH SUBSTAIN NOW. HAVE HAD ULCERS MANY YEA RS AGO AND SEVERE STOMACH PROBLEMS FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEBER. I ALWAYS HAVE A SWOLLEN STOMACH. AM LOSING WEIGHT FAST. MY IDEAL WGHT IS 8 STONE.NOW I WGHT 65 STONE AM CONSTANTLY CONSTIPATED WHICH PRODUCES PAIN. IN ANAL AREA............HAD CHRONIC BAD BREATH AND HAVE SINCE LOST ALL MY TEETH DUE TO SEVERE GUM INFECTION. I AM DUE TO HAVE A COLONGRAPHY NEXT WEEK.. DO THESE 2 PROCEDURES GO HAND IN HAND.
Not sure which two procedures you are referring to as there only seems to be one mentioned - colonography. However, its good that you have abstained from alcohol. Go ahead for the colonography and please see a dentist for the gum infection if it has not been treated.
