Diagnosed With Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma Of The Parotid Gland. Cancer In Lungs Found After Pet Scan. Any Alternative Other Than Chemotherapy?
I am a 62 year old male. Recently, I was diagnosed with mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the parotid gland. surgery was performed and it was found to be more extensive than originally thought. A Pet Scan was performed and the cancer was found in my lungs also. Are there any alternatives to chemotherapy for treatment?

the name chemotherapy is the name given to medicines that are used to treat cancer. If you dont want chemotherapy it means you dont want to take medicines against cancer. Stigma is attached to this word due to the old generation medicines causing toxicities. now with the latest advances in drugs for cancer and drugs to prevent side effects, intolerable side effects are not seen and one safely go for treatment.
