My father has just been diagnosed with multiple myeloma.he has kidney impairment with creatinine high, anaemia, low platelet count, pain in the bones in different parts of body, high calcium which is now in control at the moment and getting chemotherapy once a week.what treatment is available n wht is the prognosis?he also has history of blood pressure n arthritis
I have studied your case, Multiple myeloma has poor prognosis. Associated co-morbidities make it more critical. Newer medications treat multiple myeloma ,but have there own side effects
Take calcium and vit D as osteoporosis is common in multiple myeloma. To combat with chemotherapy you need to maintain high protein diet and fresh fruits and herbs
