Diagnosed With Paralyzed Diaphragm, Advised Exercises For Breathing, Strengthening Diaphragm And Lungs. Are These Going To Help ?
I was diagoned with paralized diaphragm last week. I have three exercises to do now for breathing and strengthening the diaphragm and lungs. Are these going to help? I need to see the lung specialist Feb 28th. What are the chances of this being healed? I am 75 yers old and they say this doesn t usually happen in this old a person.

Diaphragm paralysis means your nerve that was supplying to that part of diaphragm got injured during chest operation , if you had any or cervical spondylosis in old age etc
yes you are right that chest exercises wont improve the paralysed diapragm , but will cause compensatory increase in the power of diaphragm that is normal , so your breathing will improve.
