Hi..am 24 years old married women.... 60 kg weight and 5 7 height...I was recently diagnosed with polycystic ovarian disease..my uterus is anteverted and normal sized...the endometrial thickness is 5mm...no focal lesions inside the myometrium..no adnexal mass seen.... no free fluid in the pelvic cavity...my gynae prescribed chrominac-a ,yamini andmetformin tablets. i have taken this tablets for 1 month in last month..can i get pregnant in this month.i have heared that in pcod chances of getting pregnant is very less..Is pcod is a curable disease and can i get concieve in this month..pls help.. thank u..

It is characterized by basic hormonal imbalance, leading to difficulties in regular ovulation and regular menstruation. Metformin is often given for symptom control, and Yamini is oral contraceptive pill that regulates periods. In order to know if you have problem in conception, please consult a gynecologist. Have a cycle of follicular monitoring to know if spontaneous ovulation is occurring or not.
