Diagnosed With Trigemino Autonomic Cephalalgia , Suffered Side Effects, Persistent Pain On Left Side Of Head Around Eye. Cure?
Hi My mother is diagnosed for Trigemino Autonomic Cephalalgia by neurologist , she was given medicine nexito-10 mg and zeptol 200 mg started with half tablet and increased to 1 from 9th day of medication and also microcid/indomethacin tablet 25 mg, after the incresed dose of zeptol, there was bad side effects and doctor asked to stop zeptol and continue nexito once in a day and microcid as sos, but she still suffers from pain in left side of her head around the right eye, please consult and i want a permanent cure for this disease

Trigeminal neuralgia usually causes severe pain involving some parts of the face.
The treatment is as painful as the pain of the disease itself. The main stay of treatment is by medical treatment by using tablets as your mother is on.
The severe cases or cases not responding to treatment may get benefit by surgical methods of treatment.
The surgical methods of treatment are by ablative radiosurgery or by decompression surgery. Please do consult your neurologist, he will be able to guide you regarding further management.
