I have had a cough for just over 2 months now. I was treated with the Z-pack, Ammoxoclin, and a steroid the wipes out the immune system. I have seen 3 different doctors at the pediactrics and most either thought it was a sinus infection or broncitous. I had to get a cat-scan of my chest and the found a small shadow, which the doctors brushed off as nothing. After that I was coughing so hard I bruised my rib cage. After a month of coughing solid like chunks every morning (worm shaped), I went back to the doctors and was put on Flovent HFA 110 mcg. My doctor said it was only an inflamed chest, I am still wheezing and not so sure I can agree with the doctor s diagnoses.
