Diagnosied PCOD. Given Loette, Felt Weak Irritated, Pimples, Mood Swings And Weight Gain. Now Taking Yamini. Will Changing Tablets Affect?
Hi Doctor,
I am 27 year old woman. I have been diagnosied with PCOD (Left Polycyst). I was given loette, that made me weak and irritated all the time. Even got heavy painful pimples and mood swings, I have put on weight also. Took loette for 2 months. Then I have consulted one more doctor and Yamini (Composition - DROSPIRENONE + ETHINYLESTRADIOL) prescribed to me. Please let me know if changing the tablets after two months cause any problem? and how long I need to take this medicine. I frankly don't wish to take these kind of pills anymore..

Hi thanks for using HCM.
Since you got side effects with the previoue one you can change the drugs. But followup with single doctor and their advice. Just continue the present treatment till your doctor tells for stop it. Stoping of drug depends on your response to drug. Keep geting done USG abdomen for monitoring as well as get done sugar level and lipid profile. Life style modification also help in better results like diet and exercise. So discuss with your doctor and adhere to their advise. Wish you good health.
