Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
About about ago my 2 year old daughter (3 in June) woke up in the middle of the night crying and then vomited. Once she was done she said she was better and went back to sleep and was normal the next day like nothing happened. She had diarrhea but no fever. The diarrhea lasted 3-4 days but she would wake up every 2-3 days in the middle of the night vomit and then be completely fine. She eats and acts fine all day. The vomit did not have that distinct vomit smell either, it had a different type of smell to it and was mostly liquidy with rice size chunks in it. Well that lasted about 2 weeks. About 3 weeks went by without vomiting or diarrhea. Then last Friday she woke up again, cried and then vomited followed by diarrhea and like before she was totally fine after and has been fine all week until tonight. Still no fever or anything but tonight she is vomiting what looks like saliva with a yellow tiny. No diarrhea yet either. What could this possibly be?
