Did I Miscarry And Are Cramps And Lower Back Pain Normal ?
Did I miscarry and are cramps and lower back pain normal afterwards Went to the dr wednesday thinking I was going to miscarry. I had little cramping and spotting. I was 7 weeks or so along. The dr checked me out ran blood test told me everything was fine. He told me to rest and not to lift anything over 20lbs and no sex for three weeks. Well 4 days later I passed several large blood clots and what looked like a quarter size sac. I was wondering if it was a misscarriage like I believe it to be? Ive never had one but have done a lot of reading. Also im still having some cramping and lower back pain is this normal or is it because not everything has passed?
hi welcome to health care magic.see in early week of pregnancy if bleeding occurs its placental bleeding.and there are hormonal preparation to maintain pregnancy like progesterone, you immediately contact your gynec for that.no its not normal to having cramping pain +bleeding.do repeat sonography and do according to your dr. advice.

Hi,
Thanks for query,
When you visited your obst it was normal spotting and every thin was fine.
But now as you got plenty of bleeding, immediate re checking is essential.
Ultra sound will show the condition of pregnancy.
Consult your gynaec and seek his advice,
ok and bye.
hi welcome to HCM.Bleeding can be a sign of miscarriage but does not mean that miscarriage is imminent. Studies show that anywhere from 20-30% of women experience some degree of bleeding in early pregnancy. Approximately half of pregnant women who bleed do not have miscarriages. Approximately 15-20% of all pregnancies result in a miscarriage, and the majority occur during the first 12 weeks.
Signs of Miscarriage include:
-Vaginal bleeding
-Cramping pain felt low in the stomach (stronger than menstrual cramps)
-Tissue passing through the vagina.
Most miscarriages cannot be prevented. They are often the body's way of dealing with an unhealthy pregnancy that was not developing. so immediately contact your obstetrician for this.and do has she tels ok dont delay.bye
