Dear Doctor,
I did MRI for Lumbo-Sacral Spine and the impression is as follows:
1. Lumbar and cervical spondylosis.
2. Bilateral SI joints normal.
3. Diffuse disc bulge of L4-L5 disc with bilateral neural foramen narrowing and compression of bilateral exiting nerve roots.
4. Diffuse disc bulge L5-S1 disc with bilateral neural foramen narrowing and compression bilateral exiting nerve roots.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query,
Your MRI report suggestive of PIVD where the nerves get compressed by the protruded disc..
There are several treatment modalities with medicines, physiotherapy and with injections in the back called epidural injections and root/facet blocks.
If you dont get better with these treatment ,Surgery is adviced, by which the nerves are decompressed by removing the protruded disc (discectomy), which would significantly improve your symptoms.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful
