Did I Hurt My Child While Cleaning Ears With Qtip?
I was cleaning out my 2 yr olds ears tonight after bath and stuck the qtip too far in! He started crying and screaming and I had to console him. I had ear drops for pain from a previous ear infection and used it. He is in bed now, but has woken up 2 times crying. Could I have hurt him bad?

Hello. Thank you for your question. Though unlikely, it is difficult to say if any severe or permanent damage was without an exam. We generally recommend not putting cotton swabs in the ears because of this concern. I am sure he will be ok. However, I recommend consulting with your doctorz just to be safe.
