Did My Cartilage Piercing, White Gooey Stuff Visible. Is It Due To The Conditioner?
i did my cartilage piercing about two months ago, and everythings been fine. no pain at all, and the redness is no longer visible. ive noticed that white gooey stuff was coming out of my cartilage, and i figured it was conditioner so i didnt pay mind to it. its white gooey stuff.. it has the texture of conditioner. is it infected? if so what do i do? HELP!!! Mariah
This happens because of perichondrial irritation after piercing and possibility of keloid formation also increases. It is not infection. Please remove any stuff you are wearing in that pierced area for some days and apply Neosporin-H ointment over it.
Hi, It seems that there is some infection took place at the site. Remove earrings, clean the site properly and apply antibiotic cream. if there is no improvement then go for one short antibiotic medicine course to cure infection. Ok and take care.
