Diet For An Extremely Overweight Person, Kindly Suggest

I have an extremely overweight brother. For the last two weeks, he has experienced great pain on both sides of the upper body, and breathing difficulty. doctor stated he had his liver stuck to his thoraxic box. His blood pressure was 20. He ordered X rays, complete blood work, and an electrocardiogram . the electrocardiogram was normal. The rest of the tests are still being done and won t be available for a week and a half. In the meantime, what should his diet be ? Any idea of what is causing this ?
