Difficulty Bending Knee While Using Stairs. History Of Being On Cast Due To Fracture In 5th Metatarsal. Possible Arthritis?
Hi. I had my right foot - 5th metatarsal fractured and was on a plaster cast for a month. It's been 2 weeks now since the cast was removed. I can walk slowly now but I'm having difficulty bending my knee specially when going up and down the stairs. Is this a side effect of being in a cast for a month? Or could this be another case, like arthritis or high in uric acid? What should I do?
HI Thank for asking to HCM Yes it could be due to to cast, for many days your leg was in cast now having gait problem but it will go away soon you better go to some good physiotherapist for few days for gait training no need to worry it is not the arthritis or any thing else, take care and have nice day.
