Difficulty In Breathing. Feeling Like Epiglottis Is Shutting Off While Breathing In. Suggestions?

For several days I have had some odd experiences upon the intake of breath. It seems my epiglottis is shutting off two or three times during a breath, stopping the air flow. It only happens when breathing in and maybe four or five times a day. It's like I have to conscously think about opening it to breath when that happens.

I ignored it at first but it's been several days in a row now.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your problem, but it is not the way as you are thinking I agree that you may be having some kind of trouble in taking the breath but the cause of this could be different than what you are thinking, take steam inhalation, drink lot of water, if feel whistling or wheezing sound during breathing then you can try bronchodilator, Etiophylline, would be best, if it does not subsides then you need to be examined, one more thing just forget about the epiglottis have nice day.
