Difficulty In Walking, Pain Inside Knee After Knee Popping. Recommendations?

I'm 55, overweight, but moderately active. During my sleep a few weeks ago, I turned over and my knee popped. Ever since, I have had difficulty walking and certainly cannot walk without pain. The pain radiates from the inside above the knee to the center of the knee cap. The rest of my leg has pain, coming and going, sometimes in the thigh, other times in the shin. What might be going on?

Hi, it appears to be the muscle twitch due to involantary movement. Or it may be due to the osteoarthritis, which is common at this age and due to over weight, triggered in the involuntary move ment.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon. Thank you.
