Discoloration And Mild Swelling On Medial Part Of Eyelid Near Nose Area, No Instance Of Trauma. Cause?

I woke up with a dark black and blue on the medial part of the left eyelid close to the tear duct/ nose area. It s a bit swollen and about a 1/4 inch long. Although I ve not had any trauma to that area it feels bruised and hurts when pressure is applied. I m not taking any medicines that are new or that could cause this.

Hi,
If you are sure enough that you did not got hurt by anyway during sleeping, then it may be some insect bite.
low potency steroid and antibiotic cream combination needs to be applied twice daily. Also take antihistaminics.
If the symptoms aggravate, consult the nearby dermatologist.
