Discoloration On Breasts, Itchy, Red Rash On Hip. Due To Blood Sugar?
I have discoloration on both breasts on the outsides. Very itchy. And I have a blotchy red rash in right hip. I noticed the breast discoloration and itching first. It looks completely different than my hip but both are very itchy. I have been eating a lot of sugar from stress eating lately. Could thus be a blood sugar problem?
Hi ,thanks for writing here.It seems you probably have got fungal infection.Areas like breast and hips are sweaty and moist .This leads to development of fungus in such areas.Raised blood sugar levels can also help in growth of fungus.Get your blood sugar status checked.Avoid eating sugar till your blood sugar report comes.Keep area dry and clean. You can apply miconazole cream at night on affected area .Take tablet like cetrizine for reliving itching. You can use antifungal powder at day time which will keep area dry.Once you have done with your reports and they are within normal range ,you can continue with this medications only, but if your sugar is raised then you need to consult your doctor for further traetment.Take care.
