Discoloration On The Lip With Cracks. Is It An Infection?
Hi , I have some kind of infection in my lower lip . My Lower Lip Skin grows back, hardens, and when it gets wet, turns white . When it becomes hard I can notice some cracks and a little bit pain because of those cracks . Either I peeled it or wiped it off and after peeling/wiping I can see new raw skin and Skin dies every 3-4 days and this goes in a cycle.Not sure what is this problem and why it turns white and regrowing again and again...Pls help and advise

hi, thanks for posting.
probably you have dry,chapped lips with some oozing with secondary infection and formation of white slough.
it is regrowing because of the trivial trauma due to peeling and wiping
do the following
Warm saline Compresses
apply tripple action antibiotic twice a day
dont peel or wipe the area
Antiinflamatory tablets and antibiotic by doctor's advise
