Discomfort, Tightness And Feeling Of Movement In Leg From Heel To Thigh, Slight Spasms In Leg. No Inflammation, Discoloring. Reason?
I have a strange sensation in my left leg. It goes from my acheles heal up to the back of my thigh. It is not extremely painful per say but a discomfort that feels tight and feels as if it is going up and down the back of my leg. I feel slight spasms as well in different areas of the back my leg. No inflammation or discoloring. What could be causing this?
Hi there. This may be sciatica or nerve root impingement from a disc in your spinal column. You may need a MRI scan if things don't settle soon. Good luck.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Arun kumar's Response
hi ..ur talking about the referred pain or pain like sensation in ur leg which runs down to ur ankle so this could be due to the entrapment of ur sciatic nerve ..could be due to piriformis muscle tightness , or could be due to disc bulge which is causing compression on the nerve .. show as soon as possible to a orthopedic or a physiotherapist .
