Discovered Sore Inside The Mouth, Sore Throat And Cough. Detected Due To Bacterial Infection. Taking Antibiotics. What Could This Be?

i discovered one red sore on the inside cheek of my mouth as well as one white one. in addition a pea sized lump on the roof of my mouth which is hard and does not hurt. at the same time i developed a sore throat and cough. the dentist said the two sores from biting my cheeck, the lump on roof of my mouth a bony sort of protrusion. the docotr said probably all due to a bacterial infection. now i have discovered another smaller lump on roof of mouth. can these be caused by an infection? i am on antibiotics since three days and the two sores on cheek are better but on roof of mouth it is the same and as i said i discovered a second one. what could this be?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Your description is not very clear. According to the way you describe the sores developing in quick succession over a span of one week it could most likely be a mucucutaneous manifestation of some infection - either viral or bacterial. I suggest you meet a doctor in your area - either a general physician or an ENT specialist.

Regards,
Sreenivasan
