Dizziness After Having Laparoscopy Hysterectomy. Blurry Vision, Dark Stools. Normal?
I have just had a laparoscopy hysterectomy having the uterus, left ovary , and cervix removed. Im 11 days post op and I have been dizzy since my surgery. I was hoping it would go away but it still here. I became anemic after the surgery so not sure if that has anything to do with it. My eyes seem blurry at times. My bowls seem very dark too almost black?? I am taking iron pills. Is this normal? will it fade?
Hi Dr. Purushottam welcomes you to HCM virtual clinic. I have gone through your query. I think I have understood your concern, I will try to suggest you the best possible treatment options. 1] If you are passing stools on daily basis and no urination problem, please do not worry. 2] Black stools can be due to iron pills. I will suggest to take iron pill 30 minutes before meals, this will ensure maximum absorption. 3] Have plenty of water, eat a lots of fruits, salads and vegetables. Specially dark green leafy vegetables. 4] Avoid brisk and jerky moves. I hope my answer helps you. Thanks.
