Dizziness, Chest Pain, Light Headedness. Taking Lisinopril. History Of Heart Attack. What To Do?
everything in the room started spending when I raised up from bending over. I have had 3 heart attacks and by-pass surgery on my left leg, occasionally I am having some chest pains on my left breast plate area not very often I feel kind of light headed my blood pressure was178 over 91 heart rate 75 I take Lisinopril 20mg it has come down to 163 over 89 heart rate 71 It has been 2hrs from first time I took it to the 2nd time I check it. Here lately my blood pressure pill has been bring it down like 91 over 63 so I quit taking it everyday because it was bring it down so slow even when the top number is high and I take it it would bring it down in what I I am not sure what the lowest the bottom number should be before it is dangerous or considered to low. I have made an apt with my dr. but it has been changed or moved back to Sept 24th and I not sure if I should go ahead and go to ER or wait and see what happens I also have 60% blockage on my right side and 40% on my left side Please tell me what to do
Hello.Dizziness, chest pain, increased blood pressure and heart rate in person with a history of heart attack and other cardiovascular pathologies is a situation to be treated in a Emergency Service inmediately. Please go to Emergency Service as soon as possible.I suppose you take daily aspirin, if not so now take 300 mg. I wish you good health.
Medicine for blood pressure – need to be taken regularly / Lisinopril needs to be taken daily – not alternate days – the dose should be adjusted Systolic (upper figure) can be 90 to 140 / Diastolic (lower figure) 60 to 90 You should go to ER – Postural hypotension is most likely / Arrhythmia, Ischemia have to be evaluated / Anaemia, electrolytes have to be tested / Ears need to be checked (mechanism of balance is in middle ear) ... 60% blockage may not be critical – but flow reserve may have to be assessed if symptomatic..
Take care Wishing speedy recovery God bless Good luck
