Dizziness, Fainting Spells, Osteoporosis, Imbalance. ECG, Echo Test Normal. History Of Diabetes, High BP, Spondylosis. Causes For Symptoms?
My wife aged about 58 years suffering from diabetes , hypertension and also has been suffering from spondeliosis (occasionally). Her balance of ears had not been checked as yet. She has been suffering from Osteoporosis . Her ECG and Echo Cardiogram is normal. Her Diastolic is higher than normal and the difference with Systolic is between 70 to 90 (sometimes). She had fallen unconsciously number of occasions causing severe fractures to her bones. What may be the cause? Hypoglycemia, Balance of Ears, Spondeliosis, Heart /Blood pressure??
Hi,
Thanks for query,
The diagnosis of her unconscious spell should be done at that times vital data like Blood sugar level .Pulse & blood pressure reading of that time.
If she had normal blood pressure at that time with low sugar level the possibility of hypoglycemia is there.Postural Hypotension may be one of the reason.
The most likely possibility should be syncopal attack as she falls suddenly.
She also needs ENT check up.
Thanks.
