Dizziness, Lower Back Pain With Heaviness, Blood In Stools. What Is The Reason?
Hi, I ve been experciencing a lot of dizziness and i have a lot of pain in my lower back area on my right side, also sometimes blood in my stool . It feels like its very heavy on that side of my back and hurts to the touch, and this has been going on for about a year now and it s starting to get worse and I m not sure why. Thanks for your help.
* As per my surgical experience, dizziness with lower back pain and blood in stools are secondary to intestine pathology with secondary anemia due to blood loss in most of the cases.
* An immediate consultation with your primary care provider and referral of gastroenterologist for diagnostic colonoscopy and stool microbiology in the lab are mandatory proceedings.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
