Dizziness, Nausea, Vomiting. Taken Neurontin. Will Symptoms Stop After Stopping Medicine?
o.k.here I go my Dr.just put me on Neurontin 300mg.take them 3x's or if to much cut back well I took one at bedtime and one in the morning when I got up it mad me sick dizzy nauseated and I vomited should I stop them and get a sma ller mg. or will these symptoms go away after a while or just stop them cause like I said I've only taken two. Thank You
Some people develop the side effects you mentioned with Neurontin. In my experience, Neurontin is started in low dosages and later gradually hiked up. I feel that you should start with a 100 mg single night time dose and gradually hike it up rather than starting at 300 mg three times per day. Please discuss with your doctor if this can be done. I expect your current symptoms will go away when the high dose of the drug is excreted from the body. There is no need to worry. But if you have problems even with lower dosages, then you will have to consider stopping the drug and ask your doctor for a change in prescription.
Hope this helps. Best wishes.
