Dizziness With Lower Pelvic Pressure. Gestational Diabetes. Abnormality?
Im currently 38 weeks and 5 Days pregnant. I have gestational diabetes this pregnancy also. Tonight my ears felt like my hearing was kind of off and i got really dizzy and felt shaky, with alot of pressure in my lower pelvic region. Something i should call on call doc for? Or is this normal? Ive been checked every week for high blood pressure and its always been fine. This is also my 3 rd pregnancy.
Hi, Your symptoms are natural at this stage of pregnancy and given that you have gestational diabetes, you may have hypoglycemic episodes as well. The pressure is most likely due to the descent of the baby and this being the third pregnancy, you may deliver earlier too. I would ask you to report the matter to your consultant and take advice. Meanwhile try to relax and rest in left lateral position. As the baby is mature there is no harm if you deliver now. Hope you find this information helpful. Wish you safe motherhood.
