I need to know few things like age and sex and country of living etc. In high TB prevalence countries like India, Africa, pakistan etc, people tend to infect naturally and immunity start to develop in childhood. So in these people positive Ig M is not having much importance. But in countries like US, Europe where tb is very rare this positive report is important. Other importance of this test is in children. Children with high ig M may have active infection. In WHO guidelines now PPD test has been replaced by TB IgM for screening purpose. So for you I would suggest to consult infection specialist and consider other infections like brucellosis and fungal infection.
