Do Ampilox, Metrnidazole And Paracetamol Help Treat Cut On Face?

I have a cut on my face two days back that was stich and ampilox is among the drugs that were administer to me with metrnidazole B.P 400mg,paracitamol and day by day vitamin C & glucose tablet.Dr, hope these drugs will give me fast healing because am a very busy person that can t afford to be idol for a long time.thanks

The medications prescribed to you after stitches are the correct course of treatment for prompt and swift healing.
Ampiclox and metronidazole are prescribed to you to avoid infection. Paracetamol acts as a pain killer and anti inflammatory, whereas vitamin C helps in building collages thus is essential for wound healing.
Your stitches need to be opened around 3-5 day to minimize the scarring so I would suggest you consult your local physician accordingly.
Avoid getting the wound area too wet or dirty. Try to clean it with soap and water twice daily and then gently pat them dry.
As for your routine, you can continue leading a normal life as per your schedule because the stitches on face don't require bed rest.
