Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Furosemide causes the body to lose extra fluids and would not cause weight gain. Carvedilol is a beta blocker and this family of medicines can sometimes cause weight gain but not usually to this extent. Your may want to consider testing for the different hormones such as thyroid hormone and cortisol to rule out other causes. A review of your diet and physical activity (150 mins a week recommended by guidelines), may also be needed.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
