Do Ciprotab And Doxycycline Help To Treat Painful Urination And White Penis Discharge?
I had an unprotected sex 2 days ago and I have a whitish discharge from my penis and slight pain after urination. A Pharmacist prescribed Ciprotab 500 one in the morning and evening for one week with Doxycycline 100mg one in the morning and evening. Is this right?

I have gone through your query. In your case chlamydia or gonorrhoea can be suspected. A swab test or urine examination for gonorrhea and chlamydia will be helpful to rule out. Ciprofloxacin and doxycycline are both sensitive for these. Usually one week therapy will be helpful to clear this. Repeat swab will be helpful to confirm whether cleared infection or not.
