Do Duvadilan And Utodin Tablets Have Similar Medical Composition?
Hello Doctor, My spouse is 26 week pregnant and using Duvadilon for last 8 weeks as prescribed by doctor, Due to some mild pain in her right abdomen, Doctor used utodin IV (2drops/min) for 4 days and followed by utodin tablet. After 3hrs of taking utodin tablet she is suffering with comfortless/acidity/headache etc but her DR not ready to change the medicine,My question here is Duvadilon as good as utodin and does both have same quality or not and the side effects of utodin ?

Duvadilan and Utodin are both selective B2 agonist, giving vasodilation effect on uterine muscle with efficacy proven for treatment of premature labour and contractions.
You should discuss the advantages and disadvantages of both for particular case indication with your OBGY before consuming the same.
